Peeling skin

Our skin consists of three layers basically: epidermis (outer layer), dermis (middle layer), and hypodermis (inner layer). Every layer has its own function and change after a particular time period. Every 28 days the outer layer peels off and brings up a fresh new layer. Peeling Skin can be due internal as well as external factors.
Internal factors include Erythroderma, Hand eczema, Eczema, Ichthyosis etc. External factors include perspiration, Dry skin, sunburn, peeling skin Syndrome.
During sunburn the top or outer layer heats up due to which the skin peels off. Dry skin generally occurs due to extreme cold weather or due to lack of water in skin. This type of peeling is generally very painful.
Peeling skin is a temporary disorder which heals after a certain period of time and with proper consulting with physician. Thus peeling skin is rarely considered as harmful and deadly.
You can get rid of peeling skin problems either by visiting a physician or home made remedies. Nowadays, one popular way to get rid of peeling skin is Chemical peeling.
